Rush University Golf Outing

The Fifth Annual Rush University golf outing was held Tuesday, Sept. 27, at Silver Lake Country Club in Orland Park, Ill. The golf outing provided an opportunity to support Rush University students, while enjoying a fun and exciting day of golf with Rush  leadership, staff, faculty and alumni.

More than 150 golfers hit the links to raise more than $116,000 in support of Rush’s students.

This golf outing is part of a larger institutional effort to raise scholarship funds for all four colleges of Rush University: Rush Medical College, College of Nursing, College of Health Sciences and the Graduate College. In the face of the rising cost of higher education, additional scholarship support will allow Rush to increase the number of awards offered to students, reduce financial burden among students and attract a diverse student population.

Since our first golf outing in 2007, this event has raised more than $400,000 in vital scholarship support for students in all four colleges of Rush University. Support from the event has helped Rush University prepare the best and brightest students for health care careers, regardless of their financial resources.
